These terms (the “Terms”) govern your use of Review4am — the critiq website, the movie, song and actor catalogue, the review system, and any APIs we expose (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by [Company legal name], [registered address] (“Review4am”, “we”, “us”).
By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering you confirm that you meet that requirement and that the information you give us is accurate. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we will close it and delete the associated personal information.
You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including keeping your password confidential. Do not share your credentials. Tell us promptly at [security email] if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
You may close your account at any time. Closing your account does not automatically remove reviews you have already published — see “Your content” below.
“Your Content” means anything you submit to the Service — reviews, ratings, spoiler flags, and any text you type into a form.
Reviews only work if they are honest. You must not:
We may remove or hide any review, and suspend or close any account, where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken. We are not obliged to review content before it is published and cannot guarantee that every review on the Service is accurate.
Release dates, runtimes, budgets, box-office grosses, country splits, cast payments, streaming view counts and critic ratings shown on Review4am are compiled for general interest. Financial figures in particular are estimates drawn from public reporting and modelling, are frequently revised, and should not be treated as audited numbers. Do not rely on them for investment, commercial, or journalistic purposes without independent verification. We are not liable for decisions made in reliance on catalogue data.
The Service, its design, code, editorial content, and the Review4am name and logo belong to us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you. You may view and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
The Service may link to third-party websites, or include manufacturer imagery and information supplied by third parties. We do not control those third parties, do not endorse them by linking to them, and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
We are actively developing Review4am. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time. We aim to keep the Service available but do not promise uninterrupted access, and we may take it offline for maintenance.
We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will give notice — by email or by a notice in the product — before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if continuing to provide the Service to you would expose us or other users to risk. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity — continue to apply.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or that the information on it is complete or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of data, or the cost of substitute services. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or [cap amount]. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
You agree to indemnify us against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from Your Content or from your breach of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and the courts of [city / court] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court to protect its intellectual property.
